I didn’t take very much video, but here’s what we got. the girls love watching the Disneyland footage, so that’s mostly for their entertainment

whew! I can’t believe how many pictures I’m posting! they probably look like a bunch of the same thing to most people, but these days were such wonderful memories I want to remember them all. At the end you’ll see our fun with cousins…
We took the girls to Disneyland while we were in California. We were basically there for the entire (hot!) day and the girls were such troopers! I was worried that we had no strategy for how we would fit in all the rides/characters into one day, but somehow we managed. We even went on some of the big, scary rides with them. Lyla took the crown for being the most thrill seeking one in the bunch (shocking!). One of my favorite memories from the day, was after she was turned away from a big ride for being just a hair too short. I re-did her hairdo to poof it up, and she was able to do all the big stuff the rest of the day. She was so proud of our little trick, and she loves retelling the story. Other favorite parts were the thunder mountain train ride, Mickey and Minnie’s house, and the parade at the end of the night (featuring the elusive Anna and Elsa). It was such a great day, but I was thankful to back at the calm and serene beach the next day 
my one and only regret, was waiting until the very end of the night to try and get a picture of our whole family. we were even desperate enough to pay the official Disney photographer, but she was taking down her camera right as I asked her 
On our first day in Huntington there was a volleyball and paddle boarding competition. The girls are watching dolphins jump with the paddle boarders!

We spent Finley’s spring break in Chelan with friends. We made so many fun memories!

I’ve put off posting our photos from our trip to the beach, because I had a ridiculous amount to sort through. so many fun memories, it’s almost overwhelming!

These are from our last 2 weeks in Chelan. We are so thankful for the time we got to spend there and the memories that mean so much to the girls. they talk about Chelan all the time and ask me nearly every day when we can go back. Someday I’ll put together a video of our time there. Finley went from not swimming at all, to totally swimming on her own in the deep end. And lyla went from hating the pool last year, to being the biggest fish in the family. hooray!!
