farewell

On my last day teaching the children and parents each greeted me with a bouquet of daffodils as they came through the door. It was the sweetest moment. They spoiled me all day with presents, cards, and treats. They even surprised me with a DVD of special memories from our year together. I held it together all day, but there was no way I could hold back the tears while I watched the slideshow. I am preggers after all! They were the best class anyone could ask for and I miss them already.

easter

Easter 2007

We ate too much, as usual.

Expectant parents get to rest instead of doing dishes! Let’s always pregnant..
Maya and Gage.

Always happy to pose for a picture!
He’s so selfless.

On a hunt…
What a spoiled baby already!

Baby got her first easter basket this year…from a Grandma of course.

I love that we still get easter baskets at 25.

drum roll please..

We recently had our first ultrasound. As soon as I am smart enough to figure out our scanner I’ll post the picture. Even though I can’t feel it yet, the little baby is very active…possibly a result of the diet pepsi I drank on our way there…but regardless. The technician “took a look between the legs” and confirmed what I’ve known all along…it’s a GIRL. She is already 8 inches long and healthy as can be! Now, the real fun begins…shopping and decorating the nursery!
