Brian and I had decided that we weren’t doing any trips this summer, cause it just sounded like a lot of work. Then summer {i use that term loosely} came and i got a little sad that the girls wouldn’t be enjoying any beach/water fun because mommy was lazy and didn’t feel like packing a bazillion things. So, i got my mom on board for a little road trip and we took the girls to ocean shores. No housework, no internet, nothing else demanding my time and attention. just each other. it was really a special week for me, and i think for the girls too. a few of my favorite pictures…

I think videos are the best. Don’t you think you will be so happy years later that you took the time to make them? So, FInley at the beginning of the video is the cutest/funniest thing ever. All the girls are so sweet. My favorite picture is the one where you and Finley are looking at each other laughing and you have a pretty bun in your hair. I think it’s frame worthy
And….I love that you took this trip with your Mom. So special for your guys.
your photos captured the best of our trip!! it was so fun and relaxing, too. I hope we can do it again. It was a perfect get away and as usual full of good memories and laughter. thanks for the good times. I agree with Meghan Beck about videos, hearing their sweet little voices and watching their toddler steps in the years to come will be priceless.

I just got home from the beach tonight….could not wait to check out what you had up on your blog. I so enjoy seeing you and the girls delight in one another. And once again you captured the moments in such a beautiful way. These are such special times that you will always treasure- especially sharing them with your wonderful Mom! She’s the best!!!
